Hot cast solid bronze over the edge mouse sculpture. This little chap is best situated nose-down, but can be placed as if he's climbing up, as long as the display surface is a little rough or textured so that his paws can grip firmly.

Please note:  We test all mice before sending to ensure that they balance, but the stability of this sculpture will depend on the surface and finish of the shelf you place it on.  We find it sits best on a sharp edge, so if you have a rounded edge shelf then you may need to use a little blue putty on the mouse's rear end to keep it in place.  A rough surface will be more stable than a shiny surface.  Some of our customers even glue these sculptures in place; on a high beam, for example, or outside on a fence post.

Weight: approximately 115 grams
Dimensions (measured by hand, so please allow for small inconsistencies):
  • Height: 4.4 cm or 1.75"
  • Width: 3.5 cm or 1.4"
  • Depth: 5 cm or 2"

Art has always been a part of my life. In fact, I've been drawing, painting and sculpting for as long as I can remember. I've been sculpting professionally for more than 20 years, starting my career in the pewter, giftware and retail sectors before specializing in bronze. I consider myself very lucky to be doing what I do. I get a great sense of relaxation and happiness when I'm sculpting; nothing else exists in that moment. As a regular exhibitor at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show I have sold to an array of customers, including royalty from the UK and overseas. I'm thankful that my work has found homes all over the world. It's very gratifying to know my collectors get the same pleasure from owning my work as I do from creating it.

With my recent relocation to Norfolk I am continually inspired by the nature that surrounds me, which is a huge influence in my bronze designs. My love for nature has led me to travel throughout Africa, Asia and North America, all of which have helped to shape my work in both realistic and abstract ways.
